For bike fitters

The first clipless pedal designed around rider biomechanics.

Peer-reviewed methodology across three universities. Joint-stress reduction you can measure. Prescription-ready for post-op and chronic PFP riders.

The fitter's case

Built on what you treat.

Built for the problems you see daily

13M U.S. cyclists experience patellofemoral pain. 12M deal with IT band syndrome. Zivo Flow Motion redistributes the forces through the stroke that drive those diagnoses.

Validated across three universities

Cleveland State, Allegheny General, Gonzaga. N>2,000 cyclists. Power, efficiency, joint-stress, and EMG, not marketing claims.

Prescription-ready summary

Clean one-line claims you can hand to a post-op rider or a chronic PFP patient without hedging.

The research

What the research shows

Each rider rode both traditional clipless pedals and pedals built with Zivo Flow Motion under identical conditions. Four measurement dimensions, power output, pedaling efficiency, joint stress across knee/hip/ankle, and EMG muscle activation, captured across a deliberately diverse rider pool spanning ages, experience levels, and injury histories.

The findings held across all three institutional populations: measurable peak-power gains, 2% efficiency improvement, joint-stress redistribution, and over 70% of riders showing improvement in at least one key metric.

In your practice

How it integrates with your practice

Post-op recovery

A pedal you can recommend with confidence for riders returning from knee, hip, or IT band intervention.

Asymmetry correction

Controlled float and elliptical path give asymmetric riders room to adapt without forcing the joint.
